Ϟ When and where is sTARTUp Day?
sTARTUp Day will take place on January 28–30 2026 in Tartu, Estonia.
The event's location: the Estonian National Museum, Muuseumi tee 2, 60532 Tartu, Estonia.

Ϟ Who can attend sTARTUp Day?
The event is open to all startup-minded people who are interested in entrepreneurship and business: entrepreneurs, investors, executives, students, scientists, innovators, programmers, marketers – you name it.
Ϟ How can I arrive at sTARTUp Day?
Fly into Tallinn using Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport or Riga International Airport. There are also direct flights from Helsinki to Tartu! From Tallinn, take a Lux Express bus, or a direct bus from Rīga to reach Tartu. Opt for a 2-hour car drive from Tallinn or a 3.5-hour journey from Rīga.

On the event day, arrive on foot, by scooter, taxi, or public transport, which is free during the festival (January 28–30) with your badge. You can also park at the venue's parking lot.

Ϟ What should I wear at the event?
There is no dress code for sTARTUp Day. Wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Ϟ Is there food and drinks at the event?
Yes, we have a restaurant and a cafe at the venue. You can also order food to the venue via food delivery apps. Please note that the food is not included in the ticket price. You can pay by cash or card at every vendor.
PS! Please, for the sake of our environment, take your own water bottle and straw (if you use one) with you which you can refill at the venue. If you drink a lot of coffee, we encourage you to take your own mug with you.
Ϟ Can I use the photos taken at the event by the photographers?
Yes, you may use the photos taken by photographers at the event if you credit the photographers and mention the name of the event (sTARTUp Day 2026).
You can use the photos for media, publications, personal use, etc. If possible, please use our festival hashtags #startupdayfest and #startupday2025.

Ϟ Where can I get sTARTUp Day tickets?
Ϟ Which ticket type should I choose?
The Startup Ticket is for businesses established less than 10 years ago that work on innovative and scalable solutions. We welcome startups from idea to scaling stage in any vertical. If you are a service provider, ie offering tech, sales or marketing support, please choose a visitor or executive ticket.
The Investor Ticket is for anyone who invests in startups: angels, LPs, fund representatives, corporations' investment teams — one investor ticket type to rule them all.
The Executive Ticket is for C-level representatives of SMEs and corporations. If you're a C-level at a startup, we recommend the startup ticket.
The Ecosystem Ticket is for representatives of incubators, accelerators and other startup support communities/organizations.
The Researcher Ticket is for people working in labs or universities who are thinking about entrepreneurship, have a great business idea and want to form a team around it, or want to offer their research skills to businesses who would benefit.
For everyone else, please choose the Visitor ticket.

A Visitor, Researcher and Ecosystem Ticket grants you full access to the whole festival, including the stage program, workshops, demo area, matchmaking, side events (except Investor Day, VIP Reception and Executive Breakfast), and official after-parties. Read more about the perks here.

Ϟ When is the latest I can purchase tickets?
You can buy the tickets until the event if they're not sold out.
Ϟ Can I purchase the ticket at the venue?
Yes, you can. Our registration team will help you purchase the ticket directly through Fienta.
Ϟ Can I buy a ticket now and tell the name of the attendee later?
You can buy a ticket beforehand and add the name of the attendee later. To verify access to the festival, the ticket has to be assigned to an attendee.
Ϟ Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
Yes, you can! On your ticket, there is a link that enables you to change the attendee profile. Enter the new attendee data and click save & send. Please contact info@startupday.ee if you have any questions.
Ϟ Can I change my ticket type?
Ϟ Is there a possibility to get a refund if I am not able to come?
Unfortunately, the tickets are not refundable.
Ϟ Can I bring my kids along?
Children under 12 years old can join you free of charge, but please let us know beforehand via info@startupday.ee
