Our Hero of the Week - Martin Jeret became CEO of Nevercode in September. At the beginning of December Nevercode signed a partnership contract with Google. This deal alone brings them in a 5-digit-sum each month!
What obstacles are you still working through?
We're always experimenting and trying out new things. Sometimes it's hard to say no to new opportunities and keeping the focus on our vision no matter how shiny the opportunities may seem. It's fools gold!
Explain to a child what Nevercode does.
We build tools for mobile developers so that they can test and distribute their apps to your phone.
How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success? Do you have a “favorite failure” of yours?
Yes, and what I learned was that I never want to fail again.
In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?
Do things for the right reasons. Fear of not succeeding is never a good reason to say no.

What are the questions to ask yourself to find out what you want to do in life?
I used to be a chemist and I have a master’s degree in organic chemistry... I thought to myself one day that there is not a single chemist I look up to or who I want to be in the future. Chemistry was cool and all and I still like it, but I thought that if I continue on this path then I would not like the person I will become in 5 years. So I decided that I will change my career and never look back. Thus far even when I felt miserable, I still felt like I was doing the right thing. Not sure, trust yourself?
