At Swedbank, we believe that entrepreneurship is not an elite pursuit. It is a journey that anyone can embark on, regardless of their age or background. What is our role? To support you every step of the way, from developing your idea to achieving growth.
That's why we've created and support a range of initiatives and programmes to empower you to take your first steps in a path to achieving your greatest ambitions. An entrepreneurial person should never have to walk their path alone.
Vivita Vista: "From Prototype to Startup"
Entrepreneurial thinking starts from an early age. In collaboration with the Vivita / Solutions Lab, we help primary school pupils develop their first prototypes into real products and services. Why? Because having the courage to experiment and make mistakes is a valuable life skill.
IGNITER
Good ideas need momentum, not just descriptions on paper. The IGNITER programme helps students and young people to test, develop and prepare their ideas for the next steps, whether that be at Prototron or in another accelerator programme. We provide mentoring and prize money to ensure that good ideas don't get left in a drawer.
Prototron
With over 10 years' experience supporting more than 100 companies and providing €1.49 million in equity-free funding, Prototron offers technology ideas their first real chance. The spring round starts in February!
Swedbank Coffee Mornings
We provide real discussions, not just another series of lectures. We talk openly and honestly about branding, cyber security, taxes, and artificial intelligence. Entrepreneurs don't need motivational speeches; they need clarity. You can also find lots of useful information for startup entrepreneurs on our blog.

What Will Swedbank Bring to the Stage at sTARTUp Day?
We will be attending the sTARTUp Day business festival, showcasing both our logo and content. This time, we will host an honest and meaningful onstage conversation between Olavi Lepp, Swedbank CEO, and Taavet Hinrikus, one of Wise's founders, about how ideas can have a real impact. Those interested in defence industry topics should pay close attention, as Raul Kirsimäe, Head of Manufacturing Department at Swedbank, will discuss investments that foster security, even in uncertain times.
We will, of course, share practical management and brand-building tips at the seminars, so you can start making improvements related to your business idea the very next day.
The best pitches will also have the chance to take to the stage, with the opportunity to win €10,000 of equity-free prize money from Swedbank. Furthermore, the strongest ideas from the autumn round of Prototron will be presented in Tartu.
If you have an idea, come and join us! If you have a question, please ask it. If you have any doubts, don’t worry – it’s all part of the process. Come and find us at the sTARTUp Day demo area!
